In 1998, local entrepreneurs Alastair Laing and Rosemary Foord, in association with Red Carpet Leisure, took a bold step out of corporate to form Unlimited Events and Entertainment – offering the local market team building, resort entertainment and corporate fun days.

The phenomenal growth of this small company saw the incorporation of Unlimited Events Decor and new shareholders Rosemary Foord and Freddy Coetzee in 2000, while Unlimited Events Entertainment acquired new shareholder Craig Hughes. The group’s services and expertise evolved to include corporate event theming and product launches, wedding décor, year-end functions and conferences. In 2008 Laing successfully bought out Red Carpet Leisure, later Craig Hughes and introduced board new shareholder - Mr Garth Bianchi.

By this time, the dynamic Decor and Entertainment company had burgeoned to a staff complement of over 130 and boasted a client base of 1400. In February 2013 Unlimited Events Group was formed to house the various event supply divisions including Unlimited Events Décor, Unlimited Events Entertainment, Unlimited Kids Parties, Unlimited Balloons, and most recent acquisitions Unlimited Hire and Unlimited Photos.

Today Unlimited Events Group is a leader in the events supply industry and the preferred event solution supplier to many blue chip venues across the country, including Gallagher Convention Centre and is rated by SEESA as a level 3 BEE corporation.
